Neil is a UKCP-registered psychotherapist and clinical supervisor, specialising in working with children and young people. He has a special interest in psychotherapy for neurodivergent clients and his work with this client group has been reported in the UK national press.
In addition to his role as Training Director and teaching at The Wyvern Institute RTE, for a number of years Neil was the Director of Help! Counselling and has been working with children and young people, both in his own practice and at local primary and secondary schools. After qualifying as a psychotherapist, he completed further postgraduate Level 7 training in Counselling for Children and Young People. Neil has lived most of his life just north of Bristol and works in private practice in the area where he lives.
Anthea has been Business Director at The Wyvern Institute RTE since September 2021. She has 20 years’ experience working in administration and management roles in a number of industries, including insurance, property management and, most recently, education. Anthea grew up, lived and worked in a number of European countries, and so brings a wealth of experience and understanding of cultural difference to The Wyvern. She studied at the Fachhochschule für Wirtschaft university in Berlin and is fluent in English and German.
Anthea has a personal interest in Transactional Analysis and has found its theories and models very useful in understanding her neurodivergence and the thinking of the neurotypical majority. At The Wyvern Institute, she enjoys liaising with our students to support them with any administrative and business questions that they bring.
